Mother's Day

Just wanted to share this gift I made for my my mom. They are paper flowers made from the boys' handprints. I found the directions in my Family Fun magazine and they turned out really cute. Calvin enjoyed helping me make them.

And here's my handsome boys and I on mother's day. Dave was gone on a cross-country once again so we went out to eat with my parents and brother and sister-in-law.

Oh Steph, is there ever going to be a holiday where Dave is home?? ;)

HA! And you know the real reason I got to have a weekend away for my birthday is that it coincided with another cross-country!

The flowers were so cute! Any grandma would be happy to receive such a special gift.

Just think...one of these years you will have hubby around all day, everday and wish he would be gone on his little tours , ha,ha.

I am sorry Dave is away so much! Boagie's right...probably will drive you nuts when he is around all the time!

Love the handprint flowers, so nice to get the boys involved in her gift!

Yep, having mine around most of the time now is causing some tension. Kinda miss the "coming home" reunions that deployments provide. Anyway...I saw the handprint flowers in my magazine as well(don't you just love Family Fun!). Your idea to put them in a watering can was so cute!
